You know humanity has sunk to a new low when laws are passed making it illegal to feed the homeless. The story of 90 year old war veteran Arnold Abbott being arrested three times this month for feeding the homeless must surely have you outraged. If it doesn't, you don't understand the situation... "Drop that plate immediately" is what the officer told Mr Abbott. Really?
Thirty three states in the USA have made it illegal to feed the homeless - in a country where 1 in 6 people go hungry on a daily basis according to the National Coalition for the Homeless. How is this okay in anyone's book?
I believe every single rational person on this planet has indeed a moral responsibility to flatly ignore ridiculous laws like that and help their fellow man in any way they can. In a global system that is so badly rigged and corrupt and causing endless hardship, we have a duty to stand up and say "no more!", we must drive the change we so badly need. We, the people, outnumber the puppet masters by millions to one; when will we realise that and do something to turn the tide forever? If we stand together and say NO to injustices and refuse to take part in their game, the game will stop. It's not too late to make a stand.
